Press release: photovoltaicboard.com going online

Postby valentino » 01.09.2011, 11:29

Here's the official press release of the Photovoltaikforum GmbH:

Photovoltaikforum becomes international – photovoltaicboard.com goes online
Waiting is over: There will be an international version of the Europe-wide largest board regarding photovoltaics going online under the domain http://www.photovoltiacboard.com. An English-speaking pendant of the German-speaking board – supervised by international specialists – shall be created. From September 1st, novices, advanced people, interested parties, photovoltaic installation operators, installation enhancers, solar technicians, installers, tax consultants, financial experts, photovoltaic professionals and traders can compare and provide notes on an international level. The new emblem also has been adjusted the new domain and language, without losing the reference to its traditional roots.

At the Intersolar as well as at the Photovoltaikforum itself, the call for an English-speaking version with global content became louder and louder in the past months. This request also meets the general development of the photovoltaic-branch to new markets and sales channels beyond Europe. So the Photovoltaikforum GmbH, with its headquarter in Swabian Kirchdorf a.d. Iller, decided to meet this wish. Right from the start the international, and in terms of content only slightly modified, board will be supervised and moderated by professionals. Subforums are planned for single countries and regions by and by. Access to module- and inverter databases will be offered as well as common topics. Form and color survive and the new emblem reveals its belonging. German-speaking users will still be helped at the well-known place. Thereby it is particularly important for the operators “that the independence of the board on an international level will be conserved” says Jürgen Haar, CEO of Photovoltaikforum GmbH.

The platform will be available from September 1st.
